Explore the 4,000-year-old history of tea!  Join us for this two part class exploring the history, processing, and hidden aspects of tea - the world's most popular beverage. This course will integrate tasting teas from China and Taiwan with the history that shaped modern tea production and the nation of China alike.  Give your senses a treat and explore the flavors and aromas in white, green, black, oolong, and pu'erh teas that have been developed and perfected over generations. 

$15 Registration per class (per person) or $20 for both

Introduction to Pu'erh

Our shipment as arrived and we are ready to showcase these beauties! Pu'erh teas are one of the oldest styles of teas, dating as far back as 200 AD. Over the last 1800 years these beloved teas have gained much popularity and continue even more so into today's modern era. Explore flavors ranging from bright and fruity, to dark, chocolaty, and earthy. This is perfect for new comers to tea or even more so the die hard tea enthusiasts.

Black tea is the most produced type of tea in the world, and this class will showcase 12 different teas ranging all across the globe. From the high mountains in Darjeeling to the hills in Anui China, this class is for the black tea lovers and anyone interested in exploring its beauty.
