This French sea salt (pronounced "sel gree") is still moist and is not processed in any way to preserve its fresh flavor and 84 naturally-occurring trace elements and minerals. It has a medium crystal size so is suitable for everyday cooking or as a finishing salt at the table. We do not recommend using this salt in a grinder; instead, crush with a mortar and pestle.
