A high-grade pu'erh tea from southern Guangxi province with a rich, full flavor and deep ruby-red cup color.
Though pu'erh (aged) teas are not technically black teas, they brew up quite dark with an earthy flavor and dark cup color. Unlike black teas, however, they yield multiple infusions and have a very low acidity. Though some people liken their fragrance to freshly-turned earth, pu’erh tea is gentle on the stomach and was reputed to aid in digestion by the ancient Chinese.
