The Wu Yi Mountains of Fujian, China are the original home of oolong tea. This classic tea has a smooth, rich body with roasted aroma and a sweet finish. Excellent chilled or with meals.
Oolong tea comes from the same plant as black, green and white teas and only differs in the processing. Some oolongs are quite dark while others brew up quite light. The color of the leaf and cup depends on how long the leaves are oxidized but, as a rule, they are lighter than black teas and darker than green teas. Oolongs are also known for yielding many infusions from the same leaf, sometimes as many as four.
